Setting up PI5

Following thread to install Mate DE on PI4, these are the results:

vivaldi-snapshot installed vs stable as stable crashed - think it was a bug with that specific one

Magic one liner seemed to work.

keepassxc setup:
change theme, hide window (drop to background) url, show system tray icon colorful
Security tab:
enable double clik
Done

used:

sudo apt-cache showpkg kodi

to find all available versions as kodi21 was also there.
sudo apt install kodi installs kodi 20.5
worked

Transferred contents from working PI4 /.kodi folder to /Downloads on PI5, then deleted contents and pasted from /Downloads.
Worked Nice

Install sweet-dark theme, then goto "icons" in the customize tab to set it.
Right click on advanced menu button and 'reload plugins' got the menu color right.

Copied contents of /usr/share/backgrounds/cosmos to PI5
Created directory for new slideshow

sudo mkdir /usr/share/backgrounds/slide/

Edited .xml file to change "cosmos" to "slide"
Right click empty space on desktop, select new, browse to folder, select "all files" at bottom, select .xml file, click ok

Install feishin, telegram-desktop, timeshift, MVP player, etc....

basically done. Youtube much faster. Definitely an upgrade.
