  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter and then add sugar.
  3. Mix corn starch and 2 cups of flour together.
  4. Mix this with the wet ingredients and beat until like whipped cream.
  5. Add remaining flour by hand.
  6. Roll into balls (25 g), press with a fork onto ungreased cookie sheets, and press a 1/4 cherry into the center of each.
  7. Cook 8 – 10 minutes – until bottoms are very light brown.
Recipe Notes

A classic Christmas treat.  Cookies must be removed at just the right time, which depends upon your oven.  Just a light browing on the bottom is what you are after.
