November Rain
Along the way I stopped at a place called Cannon Beach, a real surfter type resort. It so happens that I remember staying here as a kid, but I didn’t realize it until I walked out onto the beach. Back then we camped right on ou of oth beach, but things have changed a little since then.
So, it beats the snow, but man… this rain has been following me since just outside Lillooet, B.C.
It was a good day to do laundry, and while I was at it, burn some new CD’s and cruise the net.
There is lots to do around here, just not the right weather.
It seems the farther south I get, the more hot-spots I come across. Either that, or i am just getting used to having wireless as an option. Anyways, not some weird looks, but who gives a crap. It’s not like I’ll ever see them again.
Not much to speak of today. I stopped at a little town called Hoocares and had lunch. There, I saw this…
Anyone who knows me knows why I took the picture. The all seeing eye is everywhere…
I picked up a hitch-hiker today. Te was soaking wet and hating it. The guy talked my ear off until just before the California border. i was told that had I travelled any other time of the year, I would’ve been paying big-time. The guy was about fifty. One of those floater type people that has been everywhere and done everything. Thing was, I believed him. He was about as straight-up as a person could be. Anyways, it added a little colour commentary to the otherwise gloomy drive.
I have to remember that the States is a country I am in only because it is in the way. If I had a choice, I would start right in Mexico.
We’ll see what the Redwood Forests have to offer now that I am here in California. There are about a billion places to spend your money doing that.
