More Boca
Lots of pics from yesterday. Here’s some of the restaurant.
The restaurant is NOT what it used to be. Across the street from the pension in David, we could get a two scoop ice-cream cone for 65c. Here, you get it in a sundae cup (woo), and it’s 3 buks. It was always expensive here, but that is bending you over.
Anyways, it sits on quite the rise…
Mr.Curious has to know what’s down there..
After breakfast, it is off to the beach. This is a view along the way. Kinda postcardylike.
And Christinas’ Beach, which is only named that for Christina, who used to have a little palapa there serving drinks and such. They no longer do this, she’s 80 now, or so, and lots has changed since ’09, or should I say, lot’s has been let slide.
But the beach doesn’t care. You can see our hammocks underneath this tree. This is high tide, by the way.
Between reading in the hammocks, and going for dips, we fed the hermit crabs for giggles…
After a full day of that, there are howler monkeys about 1/2 way home.
They sound a whole lot worse than they are.
I know it doesn’t seem like much, but after a day like this, we’re both exhausted, so it’s a good thing the beds are comfortable.
