But the real story for today was the fire in Ventura.

I had to chase it down a little, but you could get right up close to where the water-bombers were filling up.

This little camera of mine takes short little movies, and I have one of the chopper coming in to fill up.,  Right in front of me.  This things don’t mess around and I had to check my footing.  Problem is, the file size is enormous, too big to send as e-mail… you guys will just have to wait until I get back.

After the cops chase us away from teh side of the road there I mad emy way into Los Angeles and discovered what REAL grid-lock is like.  I can’t even imagine lining here and thinking it’s cool.  I am now at the Comfort Inn in Hollywood.  I’m gonna head out for a stroll to see what is what.  I am hoping to get noticed…
