This is a great use of leftover turkey, which is in abundance when there are only two in the house. We make these into little pot pies with our pie maker so they are meal size, but obviously you can make a full size pie as well.

General spice used for sausage, or meatballs as it were. I gave it 4 stars as the ‘heat’ still needs some adjusting.
Baking
I’ve been making this for about 40 years now, mailing it out, and calling it my “yearly lump”. I started adding cherries a few decades ago… no complaints.
It is the only “fruit cake” that I really like, living half way between fruit cake and Stollen – the heavy bread we would slather with butter Christmas morning for breakfast.

What a surprise this was… our problem was reserving enough carrots from our garden to eat instead of putting it all into this soup for freezing. This is just a taste delight, and I don’t often say that about really anything. Curry? And ginger?!? Really? Yet it’s awesome, and can’t deny it.
Mexican
This fajita mix is simple, can be made early and let stand until needed, or used in various ways for a few days. We have also doubled this and froze half – minus the rice of course.
