Finally on the road.  Straight to Calgary.  On the way there it was nice of my odometer to finally roll over.  New car!!  This will make it easy to keep track of how many miles I have travelled, should I ever think that important.

Of course you always forget something, and this time it was my toiletries bag.  Had a pal send it down by Greyhound and picket it up the next day.  Thanks man.  Good to get the sweaters off my teeth.  So I’ve been in Calgary for a few days. I notice Calgary always has cheaper gas than Edmonton even though that is where all the refineries.

running on 7 hours sleep in the last two days, so last night was good to get a solid rights’ rest.  I’ll stick around here for another night so I can get back to waking up at a regular time, and tomorrow will head out towards B.C.

This morning saw snow and it only got worse the farther I went.  Nothing I haven’t driven through before, I just didn’t want to do it this year.

Made it to Sicamous and past the crappy weather before I grabbed a room.  Now it is only drizzling.  They have got the internet in the rooms now.  Nice.  Figured this out and now down for a soak in the hot-tub.  Tomorrow I’ll find myself in a place called Grindrod.  Someone told me about it… not sure about it… not sure about the women there.
